As a player who is advancing in age, the challenge lies in not succumbing to the realization that one's prowess diminishes, especially for someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, who has crafted an indestructible persona. Unfortunately, this is an aspect of life that one must come to terms with. A dialogue between him, his coach, and the football association could be pivotal, ensuring smooth operations by conveying, 'You are invaluable to me, but your role includes being on the field for some matches and resting for others.' It is imperative for the player to be engaged in this process and to have a clear understanding of the expectations placed upon him. Conversely, if promises of a game appearance are broken, trust can be irreparably lost.
