The FIFPRO Team of the Year, recognized by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) Professional Players' Association, honors the cream of the crop in men's and women's football each year. This prestigious accolade, originally known as the FIFPRO World 11, was established in 2005 to celebrate the finest footballers as voted by their peers. In 2009, a collaboration between FIFPRO and FIFA led to a rename, now known as the FIFA FIFPRO World 11, or the FIFA Team of the Year, while maintaining the original voting process. As of 2024, FIFPRO has taken full control of the award and has reverted to its original title: the FIFPRO World 11.
The FIFPRO Team of the Year, an accolade exclusively chosen by professional footballers from across the globe, stands as the sole global honor to be entirely determined by players. The criteria for the nominees' performances are based on a timeframe spanning from August 4, 2025, to July 19, 2026, with a minimum requirement of participation in 30 official matches during this period.
在最终确定11人首发名单时，阵容将包括一名守门员、三名后卫、三名中场球员以及三名前锋，而剩余的席位将由得票数最高的非守门员球员占据。
